The colourful world of Soho Road in Birmingham is presented by Liz Hingley, who grew up in this city where over 90 different nationalities now live. Between 2007-2009, Liz investigated urban faith to create a lasting documentation of the rich cultural diversities and religious practices. The collection of photographs and quotes intimately document different communities who use the 30 religious buildings along the road and speak about wider issues in contemporary urban experience such as immigration, secularism and religious revival. (Publication of book in 2011 supported by Openvizor)
